In The Beginning

Influenced by my years in scouting, during which time we collected and traded council patches, Order of the Arrow patches and camp patches from around the country. Most of which I still have some 45 years later. I decided “OFFICIAL GEO” collectible Patches were a good fit for the treasure aspect that was missing in my caching adventures. After all, who doesn’t like patches and there are so many ways you can utilize your duplicates. They can be sewn on backpacks, bags, blankets and quilts or affixed to plaques, shadowboxes and trophies. That is just a few ways to memorialize your hunts. Our collection binders keep your GEOs in pristine condition if you want to collect the completed series. Our grown children and our grandchildren still enjoy the clandestine dead drop Geo trading adventures. You never get too old to polish and perfect your spy-craft. And we certainly enjoy adding stray GEOs to existing caches or placing new GEO TRADING SAFES across the country, if you see a logbook signed “Your Spy” that was us, Team Geo Beast! I never met someone that didn’t like finding our GEOs. The first series of collectible patches we developed was back in 2016, the American Series. Consisting of all 50 states, the American Flag and the District of Columbia for a total of 52 in the original series. In 2017 not wanting to leave out our neighbors to the north we completed the Canadian series of 14. That was followed by the Solar series of 11 and then reaching out to the stars we developed the Zodiac series of 12. In Sept of 2017, 9-11-2017 to be exact everything changed, Hurricane Irma threw a 6 foot bucket of water on all our dreams, not just this one. Our home and all of our cottage industry inventory was destroyed. For the next six months I planned and executed the destruction of our beloved home. GOD is good all the time, and He has a plan. Just like the mythical Phoenix a tote of “OFFICIAL GEOs” arose from the ruins years later. This tote was found in the attic of our storage facility, and gave us hope to once again pursue our dream of supplying GEO to the world.
